Responsibilities
- Greet and assist customers with a friendly, professional attitude, ensuring a positive shopping experience.
- Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently using the Point of Sale (POS) system.
- Organize merchandise on the sales floor to ensure the store is clean, stocked, and visually appealing.
- Assist with inventory management, including restocking shelves and processing incoming shipments.
- Handle customer inquiries, returns, and exchanges in accordance with company policy.
- Cross-sell products and up-sell services to meet individual and store sales targets.
- Collaborate with team members to maintain a high-energy and productive work environment.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
- Previous retail or customer service experience is a plus but not required.
- Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions and handling cash.
- Reliable attendance and a flexible schedule (must be available on weekends and holidays).
- Proficiency with smartphones and POS software is preferred.
