Responsibilities
- Greet and assist customers with a friendly and professional demeanor, ensuring a welcoming store environment.
- Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently using point-of-sale systems.
- Product knowledge and recommendation: Demonstrate deep knowledge of our products to assist customers in making informed purchasing decisions.
- Merchandising: Maintain a neat, organized, and visually appealing store layout by stocking shelves and organizing displays.
- Cash handling: Accurately handle cash, credit, and check transactions while adhering to company policies and security protocols.
- Customer Service: Resolve customer inquiries and complaints promptly to ensure high satisfaction rates.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with management and team members to achieve daily and weekly sales targets.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required.
- Previous retail or customer service experience is highly preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Basic math skills for transaction processing.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
