Responsibilities
- Exceed sales targets through product knowledge upselling and personalized customer engagement
- Operate POS systems, process transactions, and maintain accurate inventory records
- Visual merchandising to create compelling in-store displays that drive traffic
- Build lasting customer relationships through post-purchase follow-up and loyalty programs
- Collaborate with team to achieve departmental goals and maintain brand standards
- Participate in product training sessions to stay current on seasonal collections
- Assist with store operations including receiving, stock rotation, and loss prevention
Qualifications
- 2+ years proven retail sales experience with track record of meeting/exceeding targets
- Expertise in customer relationship management and consultative selling techniques
- Proficiency with retail POS systems (Square, Shopify POS, etc.) and inventory tools
- Strong visual merchandising skills with keen eye for detail and aesthetics
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to build rapport across diverse demographics
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays during peak seasons
- High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred
- Valid CA driver's license (occasional off-site store support required)
