Responsibilities
- Process customer transactions (deposits, withdrawals, transfers) with 100% accuracy
- Operate branch technology including ATMs, cash drawers, and digital banking platforms
- Deliver exceptional customer service via in-person, phone, and virtual channels
- Adhere to strict compliance protocols (BSA, AML, Reg E) and security procedures
- Participate in 20 hours/week of virtual training modules during initial 12-week period
- Assist with branch operations including cash management, account maintenance, and documentation
- Shadow senior tellers to learn customer relationship management techniques
- Contribute to branch sales goals by identifying cross-sell opportunities
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (college coursework preferred)
- Basic math proficiency and comfort handling cash/financial transactions
- Strong communication skills with ability to explain complex concepts simply
- Proficient with digital tools (Microsoft Office, video conferencing, mobile banking apps)
- Ability to work independently during remote training phases
- Flexibility to work Tuesday-Saturday schedule (including some evenings)
- Valid California driver's license and reliable transportation for in-branch days
- Pass background check and pre-employment drug screening
