Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for practical applications
- Lead experimental validation of quantum systems on IBM, Rigetti, and D-Wave platforms
- Publish breakthrough research in top-tier journals and conferences
- Collaborate with hardware teams to optimize quantum error correction protocols
- Develop quantum machine learning frameworks for enterprise clients
- Mentor junior researchers and secure government/industry grants
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years hands-on quantum computing experience with real hardware
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, or similar quantum programming frameworks
- Strong background in quantum information theory and error mitigation
- Publication record in quantum computing or related fields
- Expertise in Python, C++, and high-performance computing
- Demonstrated ability to translate theoretical concepts to practical implementations
