Responsibilities
- Develop novel quantum algorithms for cryptography and optimization problems
- Design error-corrected qubit systems at room temperature
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping quantum-classical hybrid systems
- Publish breakthrough research in Nature/Science journals
- Secure $5M+ in government/industry research grants
- Advise on quantum-resistant security frameworks for 2026 infrastructure
- Mentor PhD candidates in quantum information theory
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years experience with quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit)
- Published research in top-tier quantum computing journals
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault tolerance
- Strong background in machine learning for quantum systems
- Experience with cryogenic quantum hardware setup
- Track record of securing research funding
