Responsibilities
- Process daily financial transactions accurately, including deposits, withdrawals, and loan payments.
- Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional service to resolve inquiries and issues.
- Assist with the opening and closing of banking branches, ensuring all security protocols are followed.
- Cross-sell bank products, such as debit cards, savings accounts, and credit cards, to meet branch goals.
- Identify and refer customers for specialized financial services or wealth management opportunities.
- Perform cash reconciliation and balancing of drawers at the end of each shift.
- Ensure strict compliance with all banking regulations, including the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA).
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED is required; previous banking experience is a plus but not mandatory.
- Strong mathematical aptitude with the ability to count cash and handle large sums accurately.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with diverse customer bases.
- Reliable transportation and the flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Must be eligible for bonding and pass a background check and credit check.
- A positive attitude and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
