Responsibilities
- Accurately sort, scan, and package incoming shipments using barcode scanners and handheld devices
- Operate warehouse equipment (pallet jacks, forklifts with certification training) for material movement
- Maintain organized inventory levels through systematic stock rotation and cycle counting
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely order fulfillment and dock operations
- Adhere to OSHA safety protocols and maintain clean, hazard-free work areas
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to optimize warehouse efficiency
Qualifications
- No prior warehouse or logistics experience required – full training provided
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs with proper technique
- Basic computer literacy and comfort learning new technology systems
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED acceptable)
- Reliable transportation to our 24/7 facility near Raleigh-Durham Airport
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in inventory management
- Flexibility to work 10-12 hour shifts (6 PM - 6 AM) with rotating weekends
