Responsibilities
- Complete 12-week paid training program covering clinical skills, EKG, phlebotomy, and HIPAA compliance
- Assist physicians with patient examinations and routine procedures under supervision
- Perform vital signs, patient intake, and basic lab testing
- Maintain accurate medical records and electronic health documentation
- Schedule appointments and manage patient correspondence
- Prepare examination rooms and sterilize medical equipment
- Participate in monthly continuing education workshops
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Strong desire to pursue healthcare career (no experience needed)
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Basic computer literacy and willingness to learn EMR systems
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift 25 lbs
- Current CPR certification or willingness to obtain during training
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
