Responsibilities
- Complete 12-week hands-on training program covering clinical and administrative procedures
- Assist physicians with patient examinations and basic treatments under supervision
- Perform vital signs measurements and EKG procedures
- Manage patient scheduling and electronic health records
- Learn medical terminology and sterile techniques
- Participate in weekly training modules and skills assessments
- Shadow certified medical assistants during real patient encounters
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required
- Strong desire to pursue healthcare career path
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs
- Basic computer literacy and willingness to learn new software
- Valid CPR certification (will be provided during training)
- Pass background check and drug screening
