Responsibilities
- Coordinate inbound and outbound freight shipments, ensuring accurate documentation and timely delivery.
- Utilize logistics software to track shipments, update clients, and resolve any delivery discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and perform cycle counts in the warehouse system.
- Communicate effectively with carriers, vendors, and internal departments to ensure operational efficiency.
- Assist in the optimization of shipping routes and cost reduction strategies.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies to maintain a secure working environment.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Valid Driver’s License is a plus but not mandatory for this entry-level training position.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Office Suite) is preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Must be detail-oriented and capable of working independently or as part of a team.
