Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot & Resolve: Assist end-users with hardware and software issues, including printers, laptops, and operating systems (Windows/macOS).
- Ticket Management: Log and track technical support tickets in our CRM system, ensuring timely resolution and customer satisfaction.
- Network Support: Monitor local area networks (LAN) and Wi-Fi connectivity to ensure minimal downtime for the office.
- Hardware Maintenance: Perform routine inspections, cleaning, and minor repairs of office equipment and peripherals.
- User Assistance: Provide exceptional customer service by answering technical questions and guiding colleagues through standard procedures.
- Deployment: Assist in the setup and configuration of new employee workstations and accounts.
Qualifications
- Education: Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Certifications: CompTIA A+ or Network+ certification is a plus but not required for this entry-level role.
- Technical Skills: Basic understanding of operating systems, file systems, and networking concepts.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical thinking and the ability to troubleshoot step-by-step.
- Availability: Must be willing to work on-site in Detroit, MI 3 days a week.
