Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 1 technical support via phone, email, and ticketing systems (ServiceNow/Jira) to internal staff.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network connectivity issues for end-users.
- Assist in the deployment, configuration, and maintenance of workstations, laptops, and peripherals.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of technical issues and resolutions in the knowledge base.
- Collaborate with the senior IT team to implement IT best practices and security updates.
- Conduct user training sessions on new software applications and internal tools.
- Monitor system performance and report potential issues proactively.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent hands-on experience).
- Familiarity with Microsoft Windows 10/11 and the Microsoft Office 365 suite.
- Basic understanding of networking concepts, including TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP.
- Strong customer service orientation with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
- Willingness to obtain industry-recognized certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+) within the first year of employment.
- High school diploma or GED required.
