Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot hardware/software systems including desktops, servers, and network devices
- Provide Tier 1/2 technical support via phone, email, and remote assistance
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls across organizational systems
- Document IT procedures, incidents, and resolutions in knowledge base systems
- Monitor system performance and security alerts using monitoring tools
- Collaborate with senior engineers on infrastructure projects and upgrades
- Train end-users on new technologies and best practices
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Basic knowledge of Windows OS, Active Directory, and networking fundamentals
- Familiarity with helpdesk ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira)
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- CompTIA A+ or similar certification preferred (not required)
- Ability to lift 30 lbs and work in varied office environments
