Responsibilities
- Recruitment Support: Assist in the full-cycle recruitment process, including posting job openings, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, and coordinating candidate communication.
- Onboarding & Offboarding: Manage the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring all paperwork is completed, orientation materials are distributed, and technology access is set up. Conduct exit interviews and process offboarding paperwork.
- Employee Records Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in the HRIS (Human Resource Information System), ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations.
- Benefits Administration: Assist employees with benefits inquiries, enrollment, and changes, and coordinate with insurance providers to ensure timely processing.
- HR Operations: Process payroll data, prepare HR reports, and assist with compliance audits and policy updates.
- HR Events: Coordinate HR-related events, such as annual reviews, training sessions, and team-building activities.
- Communication: Act as a point of contact for employee questions regarding HR policies and procedures.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
- Experience: 1-3 years of experience in an HR administrative role or related field.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in HRIS software (e.g., Workday, BambooHR, or ADP) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Knowledge: Strong understanding of employment laws, such as FLSA, ADA, and COBRA, is highly desirable.
- Soft Skills: Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a professional demeanor.
- Flexibility: Ability to multitask and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
