Responsibilities
- Master cash handling, check processing, and transaction accuracy under expert supervision
- Develop exceptional customer service skills while resolving account inquiries and processing deposits/withdrawals
- Learn cross-selling techniques for financial products including loans, credit cards, and investment options
- Complete comprehensive banking compliance training including BSA/AML and fraud prevention protocols
- Participate in rotational shadowing with senior tellers and branch managers
- Utilize core banking software and digital platforms for transaction processing
- Contribute to branch sales goals through proactive customer engagement
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent with minimum 3.0 GPA
- Strong mathematical aptitude with attention to detail
- Exceptional communication skills and customer service orientation
- Basic computer proficiency with ability to learn banking software systems
- Previous cash handling or customer service experience preferred
- Ability to pass background check and credit screening
- Must pass Teller Aptitude Assessment (provided during interview)
- Valid Indiana driver's license and reliable transportation
