Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning initiatives to identify emerging technologies, geopolitical shifts, and socioeconomic trends impacting 2026+ landscapes
- Develop scenario-planning frameworks for quantum computing, AI ethics, and biotechnology convergence
- Produce strategic foresight reports with actionable recommendations for executive decision-making
- Facilitate cross-industry workshops to co-create future-oriented innovation roadmaps
- Analyze patent data, academic research, and startup ecosystems to forecast disruptive innovations
- Design resilience strategies for climate adaptation and sustainable technology transitions
- Present findings to C-suite stakeholders through compelling visual narratives and data storytelling
- Maintain proprietary foresight database with real-time trend analysis and early-warning signals
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, Strategic Foresight, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Minimum 8 years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or technology forecasting
- Proven expertise in scenario planning methodologies and trend analysis frameworks
- Demonstrated experience with AI/ML tools for predictive analytics and pattern recognition
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with executive-level presentation experience
- Deep knowledge of emerging technologies: quantum computing, neurotech, climate tech, and synthetic biology
- Published thought leadership in foresight journals or industry white papers
- Professional certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., from Association of Professional Futurists)
