What You'll Do: Lead horizon scanning initiatives, develop predictive frameworks, and collaborate with C-suite executives to embed foresight into corporate strategy. You'll pioneer methodologies for trend analysis and translate complex data into compelling narratives that inspire innovation across global teams.
Responsibilities
- Conduct horizon scanning and trend analysis to identify disruptive forces impacting 2026+ landscapes
- Develop and maintain strategic foresight frameworks for technology, markets, and societal shifts
- Collaborate with R&D teams to prototype future-ready solutions and innovation roadmaps
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders with data-driven narratives
- Build cross-functional innovation ecosystems spanning AI, biotech, and sustainable systems
- Lead scenario planning workshops to prepare organizational resilience for emerging futures
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Planning, or related field
- 7+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven expertise in trend analysis and scenario planning methodologies
- Strong background in emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional communication skills translating complex concepts for executive audiences
- Published thought leadership in futures or innovation strategy
- Experience with horizon scanning tools (e.g., Delphi method, STEEP analysis)
