Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technologies, societal shifts, and geopolitical trends to identify disruptive opportunities
- Develop and maintain multi-year strategic foresight frameworks for product development and market expansion
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with engineering, marketing, and R&D teams
- Present future scenarios to executive stakeholders and influence high-stakes decision-making
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and think tanks to accelerate trend research
- Design and implement horizon scanning methodologies using AI-powered analytics tools
- Mentor junior strategists and foster a culture of innovation across the organization
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Management, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or trend analysis
- Proven track record of translating foresight into successful business initiatives
- Expertise in scenario planning, systems thinking, and quantitative trend analysis
- Proficiency with foresight tools (e.g., Horizon Scanning Platform, Delphi Method)
- Exceptional presentation skills with experience to C-level audiences
- Deep understanding of emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech)
- Published thought leadership in future studies or innovation journals
