Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis to identify disruptive technologies and market shifts impacting 2026
- Develop strategic innovation frameworks and roadmaps for emerging domains (AI, quantum computing, biotech)
- Facilitate C-level workshops on future scenario planning and risk mitigation
- Partner with R&D teams to prototype and validate next-generation solutions
- Author thought leadership content and represent the company at global innovation forums
- Manage cross-functional project portfolios with $5M+ budgets
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic innovation, futures research, or emerging technology roles
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field
- Proven track record of translating foresight into commercialized innovations
- Expertise in scenario planning, trend mapping, and technology impact assessment
- Strong stakeholder management skills across executive and technical teams
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation strategy
- Experience with agile methodologies and rapid prototyping
