Responsibilities
- Analyze global tech trends, market disruptions, and emerging technologies to forecast industry shifts through 2030
- Develop strategic roadmaps integrating AI, quantum computing, and biotechnology applications
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate foresight into actionable business initiatives
- Author thought leadership publications and present at global innovation forums
- Partner with product teams to embed future-proof principles into development lifecycles
- Monitor geopolitical and socioeconomic factors affecting technological adoption
- Build and maintain a network of futurists, academics, and industry pioneers
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Technology Policy, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or tech R&D leadership
- Proven track record of developing and implementing future-oriented strategies
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI/ML, biotech, quantum, etc.)
- Exceptional data synthesis and scenario modeling capabilities
- Experience with horizon scanning methodologies and trend analysis frameworks
- Strong presentation skills with executive-level communication abilities
- Portfolio demonstrating published futurist work or implemented strategic initiatives
