Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis to identify emerging technologies and societal shifts impacting 2026 business landscapes
- Develop strategic foresight frameworks and scenario-planning models for Fortune 500 clients
- Author white papers and thought leadership pieces on future-proofing organizational resilience
- Facilitate cross-functional workshops to align stakeholders on 5-10 year innovation roadmaps
- Partner with R&D teams to prototype next-generation solutions for 2026 market readiness
- Monitor geopolitical and economic indicators to anticipate disruption vectors
- Present strategic recommendations to executive leadership and investor boards
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or technology forecasting
- Proven expertise in AI, quantum computing, and biotech convergence scenarios
- Certified Futurist (CF) or equivalent professional designation
- Published research on emerging technology adoption curves
- Experience with Delphi methodology and causal layered analysis frameworks
- Exceptional storytelling ability to translate complex futures into stakeholder narratives
- Portfolio demonstrating successful 5+ year strategic foresight implementations
