Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning initiatives to identify and prioritize emerging technologies with transformative potential by 2026
- Develop strategic foresight frameworks using scenario planning, trend analysis, and weak signal detection
- Design and execute innovation roadmaps integrating quantum computing, synthetic biology, and AGI developments
- Partner with venture capital arm to evaluate and shape next-gen startup investments
- Author quarterly Future Impact Reports for executive board and investor briefings
- Establish cross-functional innovation labs focused on 10-year technology convergence points
- Guide ethical AI and responsible innovation protocols for autonomous systems
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Innovation Management, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 7+ years in strategic foresight, R&D leadership, or technology consulting
- Proven track record developing and implementing 5+ year innovation roadmaps
- Deep expertise in exponential technologies (quantum, biotech, AGI) and their societal implications
- Exceptional systems thinking and scenario modeling capabilities
- Published thought leadership on future trends (white papers, patents, or keynotes)
- Experience with Delphi methodology and horizon scanning tools
- Ability to communicate complex future concepts to diverse stakeholders
