Responsibilities
- Develop and publish annual 2026+ technology foresight reports analyzing AI, quantum computing, and biotech convergence
- Design strategic innovation roadmaps aligned with market evolution and regulatory landscapes
- Lead cross-functional 'Future Labs' with engineering, product, and marketing teams
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and innovation ecosystems (MIT Media Lab, Singularity University)
- Present strategic insights to C-suite and board members using immersive data visualization
- Mentor a 6-person futurist team while managing $2M+ innovation portfolio
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Innovation Management, or equivalent experience
- 7+ years in strategic foresight, product innovation, or emerging tech consulting
- Published thought leadership in tech disruption (IEEE, Harvard Business Review)
- Expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and horizon scanning methodologies
- Proficiency with AI trend forecasting tools (e.g., GPT-4, Trendalyzer)
- Experience scaling innovation programs in Fortune 500 or high-growth startups
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ implemented future-forward initiatives
