Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 innovation strategy across AI, quantum computing, and sustainable tech domains
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-gen products with 3-5 year market impact
- Establish partnerships with MIT Media Lab, NASA JPL, and other future-focused institutions
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify disruptive technologies and market shifts
- Present innovation roadmaps to investors and board members securing $50M+ funding
- Mentor a team of 15 futurists and technical architects
- Drive patent development for breakthrough methodologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic innovation or R&D leadership within tech or aerospace
- Proven track record launching products with 2020-2025 market timelines
- Expertise in exponential technologies (quantum, AGI, bioengineering)
- Published thought leadership on future trends (Harvard Business Review/MIT Review)
- Experience securing federal grants and VC funding for emerging tech
- PhD or equivalent in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or relevant field
- Fluency in scenario planning and strategic foresight methodologies
- Portfolio of 3+ patented innovations
