Responsibilities
- Analyze global megatrends (AI, biotech, climate tech) to identify disruptive opportunities for 2026+ horizon
- Develop strategic roadmaps for emerging technologies and their business implications
- Lead scenario planning workshops with executive leadership to prepare for alternative futures
- Partner with R&D to translate foresight into innovation pipelines and product roadmaps
- Author thought leadership publications and represent the company at global foresight forums
- Mentor cross-functional teams in futures thinking methodologies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurist role
- Proven track record of translating foresight into commercial opportunities
- Deep expertise in technology convergence, behavioral economics, and systemic change
- Exceptional storytelling abilities with executive-level presentation skills
- Published work in futurist journals or industry whitepapers
- Proficiency in foresight tools (horizon scanning, Delphi method, causal layered analysis)
