Responsibilities
- Research and analyze emerging technological, social, and economic trends using proprietary foresight methodologies
- Develop strategic innovation roadmaps for clients in AI, biotech, and sustainable energy sectors
- Design scenario-planning frameworks to prepare organizations for disruptive future states
- Lead cross-functional workshops with executive stakeholders to translate foresight into actionable strategy
- Create thought leadership content (whitepapers, keynotes) positioning Horizon Dynamics as the future authority
- Manage a portfolio of 5-7 strategic client engagements with $500K+ annual value
- Mentor junior strategists in future-casting methodologies and innovation theory
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futuristics, Innovation Strategy, Technology Forecasting, or related field
- 5+ years in strategy consulting or corporate innovation with Fortune 500 exposure
- Expertise in trend analysis, scenario planning, and horizon scanning methodologies
- Proven track record of developing market-disrupting innovation frameworks
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum, synthetic biology)
- Certification in Futures Thinking (e.g., WFS, APF) or equivalent practical experience
- Exceptional presentation skills with executive audiences and thought leadership platform
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ implemented future-proofing initiatives
