Responsibilities
- Develop 3-5 year innovation roadmaps aligned with emerging tech trends (AI, quantum, biotech)
- Conduct horizon-scanning research and produce trend impact assessments
- Design and lead strategic initiatives with $5M+ budgets
- Partner with R&D to translate foresight into product roadmaps
- Present strategic frameworks to executive stakeholders and investors
- Build and lead a 12-person innovation task force
- Establish KPIs for innovation portfolio performance
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategy, innovation, or futurist roles at Fortune 500 or scale-ups
- Proven track record of launching market-defining products/services
- Expertise in emerging technologies (AI/ML, blockchain, quantum computing)
- Certified Futurist (CFP) or equivalent foresight methodology training
- Advanced degree in Business, Technology, or Social Sciences
- Exceptional presentation skills with executive audiences
- Experience building and managing high-performing innovation teams
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ successful strategic transformations
