Responsibilities
- Lead strategic foresight initiatives to map emerging technologies, market trends, and societal shifts through 2030+
- Develop and implement innovation frameworks that translate future scenarios into actionable business strategies
- Champion R&D investments in breakthrough technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech, Web3)
- Facilitate cross-functional workshops to cultivate organizational culture of future-readiness
- Partner with product teams to embed future-proofing principles into development lifecycles
- Produce trend reports and scenario analyses for executive decision-making and investor communications
- Build and maintain global network of futurists, technologists, and industry thought leaders
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Strategic Foresight, Innovation Management, Technology Policy, or equivalent PhD
- 10+ years in innovation strategy, R&D leadership, or futures research at Fortune 500 companies
- Proven track record of developing and implementing future-focused business strategies
- Deep expertise in emerging technologies (AI/ML, quantum computing, synthetic biology, metaverse)
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights
- Experience with foresight methodologies (scenario planning, horizon scanning, Delphi technique)
- Executive-level communication skills with ability to articulate future vision to diverse stakeholders
- Portfolio demonstrating published research or implemented innovation initiatives
