Responsibilities
- Analyze global megatrends, technological disruptions, and behavioral shifts to forecast 5-10 year industry evolution
- Develop and maintain Horizon's 2026 Innovation Framework with strategic roadmaps for emerging sectors
- Lead scenario planning workshops to identify opportunities in AI, biotech, climate tech, and quantum computing
- Partner with R&D and product teams to translate future insights into actionable innovation initiatives
- Present visionary insights to executive stakeholders and board members through compelling data-driven narratives
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions, think tanks, and innovation labs
- Monitor and evaluate emerging technologies through horizon scanning and competitive intelligence systems
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Innovation Management, Strategic Foresight, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 7+ years of experience in corporate innovation, strategic planning, or technology forecasting
- Proven expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and disruption modeling methodologies
- Deep knowledge of emerging technologies (AI, Web3, synthetic biology, quantum computing) and their societal implications
- Exceptional storytelling abilities with experience presenting complex futures to executive audiences
- Portfolio demonstrating successful innovation initiatives launched from future insights
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., from University of Houston or similar program)
