Responsibilities
- Conduct horizon scanning and trend analysis to identify disruptive technologies and societal shifts impacting 2026+ markets
- Develop scenario-planning frameworks and strategic roadmaps for Fortune 500 clients
- Lead cross-functional workshops on exponential technologies (quantum AI, synthetic biology, neuro-interfaces)
- Produce foresight reports and predictive models for board-level decision-making
- Establish innovation KPIs and track emerging market indicators using proprietary analytics platforms
- Mentor junior strategists in foresight methodologies and future-proofing techniques
- Present findings to executive stakeholders through compelling data visualizations and narrative storytelling
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Innovation Management, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 7+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record developing 5-10 year strategic plans for multinational corporations
- Expertise in horizon scanning, scenario planning, and technology impact assessment
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI/ML, quantum computing, synthetic biology)
- Certification in foresight methodologies (e.g., CFS, CFIP) or equivalent practical experience
- Exceptional data visualization and presentation skills with executive audiences
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation journals
