Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 5-year strategic foresight frameworks for emerging tech domains (AI, quantum, biotech, climate)
- Lead scenario-planning workshops with C-suite executives and industry thought leaders
- Design innovation pipelines translating future trends into patentable solutions
- Partner with product teams to embed future-readiness into roadmaps
- Produce annual 'Future State' reports for investors and board members
- Represent company at global innovation forums (Web Summit, CES, etc.)
- Mentor cross-functional teams in futures thinking methodologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of commercializing emerging technologies
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Theory, or relevant technical field
- Expertise in horizon scanning, trend analysis, and scenario planning
- Published thought leadership in top-tier innovation journals
- Experience with quantum computing or neural interface technologies
- Exceptional storytelling ability for complex technical concepts
- Portfolio demonstrating at least 3 commercialized future-tech innovations
