- Forecast industry and technology trends through 2026 using predictive analytics and scenario planning
- Develop strategic roadmaps for emerging tech adoption (quantum computing, neural interfaces, etc.)
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align stakeholders on future-state opportunities
- Partner with R&D to prototype and validate disruptive innovations
- Author thought leadership positioning Horizon as a 2026 market pioneer
- Monitor geopolitical and macroeconomic shifts affecting long-term strategy
- Manage innovation pipeline with quarterly horizon scanning reviews
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Technology Forecasting, or related field
- 8+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of implementing future-focused initiatives with measurable ROI
- Expertise in scenario planning frameworks and trend analysis methodologies
- Deep knowledge of emerging tech domains (AI, biotech, climate tech)
- Exceptional presentation skills for executive and board audiences
- Certification in Foresight Methodology (preferred)
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ successful future-strategy implementations
