As a key architect of our innovation ecosystem, you'll collaborate with C-suite executives, research labs, and global thought leaders to decode signals from quantum computing, AI ethics, climate tech, and human augmentation. You'll shape our innovation pipeline while mentoring next-generation futurists in our Austin hub.
Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging tech and societal trends to develop 2026-2030 strategic foresight frameworks
- Lead cross-functional 'Future Scenarios' workshops with R&D, product, and strategy teams
- Author annual 'Horizon Report' on disruptive forces reshaping global industries
- Partner with venture capital arm to identify and scout frontier technology startups
- Design and implement innovation metrics to track adoption of future-ready capabilities
- Represent company at global futurist forums and thought leadership summits
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or emerging technology analysis
- Proven track record of developing long-term (5+ year) strategic roadmaps
- Deep expertise in at least two future-critical domains (e.g., quantum AI, biotech convergence)
- Exceptional communication skills translating complex futures to executive audiences
- Published thought leadership in futurist publications or white papers
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or relevant technical field
- Experience with horizon scanning methodologies (e.g., Delphi, STEEP analysis)
