Responsibilities
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies (quantum computing, synthetic biology, AGI) with 2026 market potential
- Develop 5-year technology roadmaps aligning with company growth objectives
- Lead cross-functional workshops to prototype and validate futuristic concepts
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite and board members
- Monitor global tech trends and competitive intelligence via proprietary analytics
- Manage innovation incubator projects with $500K+ annual budgets
- Author thought leadership publications on technological convergence
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Strategic Innovation
- 7+ years in technology strategy, R&D, or emerging tech roles
- Proven track record of launching at least 2 disruptive technologies
- Expertise in scenario planning and technology forecasting methodologies
- Deep understanding of at least two emerging tech domains (e.g., quantum, AI, neurotech)
- Exceptional data storytelling and executive presentation skills
- Certification in Futures Thinking or Technology Foresight preferred
