Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 5-year technology roadmaps aligning with market trends and business objectives
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-gen solutions (quantum, AI, AR/VR, bio-digital interfaces)
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify emerging technologies with disruptive potential
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions, startups, and global tech consortia
- Translate complex technical concepts into actionable business strategies for C-suite stakeholders
- Drive innovation sprints focused on solving 2030 global challenges (climate, healthcare, accessibility)
- Manage R&D budget allocation and technology investment portfolio
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D leadership, or emerging tech innovation
- Proven track record in commercializing breakthrough technologies (quantum/AI/bio-tech preferred)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (PhD/Master's preferred)
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum computing, synthetic biology, neurotech, etc.)
- Exceptional strategic planning and scenario modeling capabilities
- Strong network within global tech innovation ecosystems
- Certification in technology foresight or innovation management (e.g., CFTE, MIT Fintech)
- Published thought leadership in tech journals or industry whitepapers
