Responsibilities
- Lead development of 2026+ technology roadmaps, identifying high-impact innovations across AI, Web3, and sustainable tech
- Analyze global tech trends, patent landscapes, and academic research to forecast disruptive opportunities
- Design and execute strategic pilots for emerging technologies, measuring ROI and scalability
- Present technology forecasts and strategic recommendations to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Build and lead a cross-functional innovation task force with engineers, designers, and market analysts
- Develop scenarios for regulatory, ethical, and market disruptions affecting tech deployment
- Establish partnerships with startups, research institutions, and think tanks
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, innovation management, or emerging tech research
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business with tech specialization
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (e.g., generative AI, quantum computing, synthetic biology)
- Proven track record of launching tech-driven products or services with $10M+ revenue impact
- Exceptional ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical executives
- Experience with scenario planning, patent analysis, and market forecasting frameworks
- Strong network within Silicon Valley tech ecosystem and global innovation communities
- Certifications in technology foresight (e.g., from Institute for the Future) preferred
