Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional teams to develop and execute 2026 technology roadmaps aligned with market forecasts
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify breakthrough technologies (AI, quantum, biotech, etc.) with commercial viability
- Translate technical innovation into strategic business cases with ROI projections
- Forge partnerships with academic institutions and startups to accelerate R&D pipelines
- Present strategic recommendations to the board and executive stakeholders
- Monitor global tech policy shifts and regulatory impacts on emerging technologies
- Build and lead a dedicated future tech incubation team
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, product development, or innovation leadership
- Proven track record of launching disruptive technologies with $100M+ market impact
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI/ML, quantum computing, AR/VR, synthetic biology)
- Executive presence with experience presenting to C-suite and boards
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field
- Published thought leadership in tech innovation or future studies
- Fluency in technology forecasting methodologies (e.g., Delphi, scenario planning)
- Experience scaling technology teams across global markets
