Responsibilities
- Architect and execute 3-year technology roadmaps for emerging domains (quantum AI, neurointerfaces, carbon-negative computing)
- Lead R&D initiatives targeting 2026 market gaps with patentable innovations
- Manage $5M+ annual innovation budget across quantum, biotech, and AI verticals
- Partner with Stanford/MIT research labs on joint development projects
- Develop scalable prototyping frameworks for futuristic consumer/enterprise solutions
- Present strategic tech forecasts to Fortune 500 client advisory boards
- Mentor internal 'Future Tech Fellows' program for emerging talent
Qualifications
- 10+ years in tech innovation with 5+ years in emerging technologies (quantum/AI/neurotech)
- Proven track record shipping at least two market-defining tech products
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science/Physics/Bioengineering
- Deep knowledge of quantum algorithms and neuromorphic computing architectures
- Experience leading $3M+ R&D budgets with measurable ROI
- Published research in Nature/Science or equivalent tier journals
- Expertise in ethical AI frameworks and sustainable tech development
- Strong network with DARPA/NASA innovation ecosystems
