Responsibilities
- Develop and implement long-term innovation roadmaps aligned with 2026+ market projections
- Analyze emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) for strategic integration opportunities
- Lead scenario planning workshops to identify disruptive risks and opportunities
- Partner with R&D to prioritize breakthrough initiatives with high future impact
- Present strategic insights to C-suite executives and board members
- Build and manage a network of futurists, technologists, and industry thought leaders
- Mentor teams in futures-thinking methodologies and innovation frameworks
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategy consulting, innovation management, or futures research
- Proven track record developing 5+ year strategic roadmaps for Fortune 500 companies
- Deep expertise in emerging technology trends and their business applications
- Exceptional data storytelling skills with experience translating complex insights
- Advanced degree in Business, Technology, Futures Studies, or related field
- Published thought leadership on innovation or future trends (preferred)
- Proficiency in foresight tools (horizon scanning, Delphi method, system dynamics)
- Experience leading cross-functional teams through ambiguity and change
