Responsibilities
- Process customer transactions with precision including deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and loan payments
- Deliver exceptional customer service while resolving inquiries and identifying cross-selling opportunities
- Maintain accurate cash drawer balances and adhere to strict security protocols
- Assist with new account openings and explain banking products/services to clients
- Operate core banking systems and digital platforms efficiently
- Collaborate with branch team to achieve sales and service targets
- Participate in ongoing training to master banking regulations and procedures
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; college coursework in finance preferred
- 0-2 years experience in customer service or cash handling
- Strong numerical aptitude and attention to detail
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency with basic computer applications and willingness to learn banking software
- Ability to stand for extended periods and handle cash transactions
- Valid Massachusetts driver's license (if required for branch rotations)
