Responsibilities
- Picking and Packing: Accurately select and package merchandise for shipment using handheld scanners and RF guns.
- Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory records by conducting regular cycle counts and audits.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and OSHA guidelines to maintain a secure working environment.
- Equipment Operation: Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse machinery safely and efficiently.
- Quality Control: Inspect products for damage and ensure they meet company quality standards before shipping.
- Stock Organization: Keep the warehouse floor organized, clean, and free of obstructions to ensure efficient workflow.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Experience: No prior warehouse experience required; general labor experience is a plus but not mandatory.
- Availability: Must be available to work night shifts (typically 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM) including weekends and holidays.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Technical Skills: Basic computer literacy and the ability to learn new software quickly.
- Reliability: A strong work ethic and a commitment to punctuality.
