Responsibilities
- Monitor patient vitals and report changes to nursing staff
- Assist with patient mobility, hygiene, and daily activities
- Accurately document patient care in electronic health records
- Respond to patient calls and ensure safety protocols are maintained
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for seamless care delivery
- Restock medical supplies and maintain clean patient environments
- Participate in emergency response procedures as needed
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (CNA certification preferred)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods during 8-hour shifts
- Strong attention to detail and observational skills
- Empathetic communication style with patients and families
- Reliable transportation for overnight shifts (3:00 PM - 11:30 PM)
- Pass background check and pre-employment health screening
