Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 1 technical support for hardware/software issues via phone, email, and in-person
- Install, configure, and maintain desktop/laptop systems and peripheral devices
- Assist with network monitoring, security updates, and system backups
- Document technical procedures and create user documentation
- Collaborate with senior IT staff on infrastructure projects
- Manage helpdesk ticket system with SLA adherence
- Participate in cross-departmental tech initiatives
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate's degree in IT preferred
- Basic knowledge of Windows OS, networking concepts, and security protocols
- Strong problem-solving skills with analytical mindset
- Excellent written/verbal communication abilities
- Ability to work independently and in team environments
- CompTIA A+ certification or equivalent experience a plus
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- El Paso residency required for on-site support
