Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 1 technical support and troubleshooting for hardware and software issues.
- Assist in the setup, installation, and configuration of computers, printers, and network devices.
- Respond to and resolve helpdesk tickets in a timely and professional manner.
- Maintain accurate records of all support interactions and issues.
- Collaborate with senior IT staff to identify system trends and improve processes.
- Participate in on-call rotation for critical system alerts.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in IT or related field is a plus.
- Strong interest in computer hardware, networking, and operating systems.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Willingness to learn new technologies and complete certification programs.
- Must be able to work independently as well as part of a team.
