Responsibilities
- Employee Onboarding: Coordinate the full orientation process for new hires, including preparing paperwork, setting up IT access, and conducting welcome tours.
- Recruitment Support: Assist in screening resumes, scheduling interviews, and coordinating candidate communications using our HRIS system.
- Employee Relations: Act as the first point of contact for employee inquiries regarding benefits, payroll, and company policies.
- Data Management: Maintain accurate employee records and ensure compliance with federal and state labor regulations.
- Event Coordination: Assist in organizing company-wide events, town halls, and team-building activities.
- Policy Adherence: Help disseminate company handbook updates and ensure departmental compliance.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field is a plus.
- Experience: No prior HR experience required; however, internship or customer service experience is preferred.
- Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and basic knowledge of HRIS software is highly desirable.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a professional, polite demeanor.
- Organization: Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced setting.
- Interpersonal: Ability to build rapport with employees at all levels of the organization.
