Responsibilities
- Recruiting Support: Assist in the full-cycle recruiting process, including posting job openings, screening resumes, and scheduling interviews for local candidates.
- Onboarding: Welcome new hires and manage the new employee orientation process to ensure a smooth transition.
- Employee Relations: Act as a point of contact for employee inquiries regarding benefits, policies, and company culture.
- Data Management: Maintain accurate employee records in HRIS systems and prepare necessary reports for management.
- Event Coordination: Assist in organizing company events, wellness programs, and team-building activities.
- Policy Adherence: Help ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and company policies.
- Communication: Draft and distribute internal communications, newsletters, and HR announcements.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required; Associateās or Bachelorās degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is a plus.
- Experience: No prior HR experience required; we are looking for eager learners.
- Skills: Strong computer proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and HRIS software.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a professional and friendly demeanor.
- Organization: Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Integrity: High level of confidentiality and ethical decision-making skills.
- Location: Must be willing to work on-site in San Antonio, TX.
