Responsibilities
- Process daily customer transactions including cash deposits, withdrawals, and check cashing accurately and efficiently.
- Greet customers with a friendly demeanor and resolve inquiries regarding account balances and services.
- Assist in opening new checking and savings accounts under the supervision of a Senior Teller.
- Learn and operate core banking software and Point of Sale (POS) systems.
- Balance cash drawers daily to ensure 100% accuracy and report discrepancies immediately.
- Provide product referrals to cross-sell savings products and loan services to existing clients.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED is required.
- Basic computer literacy and typing skills are preferred.
- Strong mathematical aptitude and attention to detail are essential.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs (bank bags).
- Must be willing to undergo a background check and credit check as a condition of employment.
