Responsibilities
- Process customer transactions accurately, including deposits, withdrawals, and loan payments.
- Assist customers with account inquiries and provide exceptional customer service to build rapport.
- Manage cash drawers with precision, ensuring daily reconciliations are met.
- Learn and operate core banking software and ATMs under supervision.
- Open new accounts and process applications for existing customers.
- Identify cross-selling opportunities for bank products and services.
- Uphold strict compliance with bank security and audit regulations.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate degree in Finance or Business is a plus.
- Previous customer service or cash handling experience is preferred but not required for this trainee role.
- Strong mathematical skills and the ability to handle cash with extreme accuracy.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
