Responsibilities
- Process daily customer transactions, including cash deposits, withdrawals, and check cashing, with a focus on accuracy.
- Greet customers warmly and provide superior service to enhance the branch experience.
- Identify and cross-sell financial products, such as CDs, savings accounts, and credit cards, to meet branch targets.
- Assist in maintaining the security and organization of the lobby and teller line.
- Balance cash drawers daily and reconcile discrepancies promptly.
- Refer complex customer issues to senior management or specialized departments.
- Perform general clerical duties and filing as needed.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Finance or Business preferred.
- Strong mathematical aptitude and attention to detail is essential.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Basic proficiency with computer systems and POS software.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
- Must pass a background check and credit check (as applicable).
